3. Next meeting - using articles, develop criteria for peer list and assessment criteria.
Sunday Mar 6, 8-9PM - Megan, Jamie and Adele in attendance
1. Articles - each of us will work towards at least 4 articles talking to the assesment of web-sites - how to measure - what criteria to use - what defines the quality of a website - Adele will look to see if there are any books on the topic
2. Current situation - metrics. - Megan will see what metrics are currenlty available associated to MCPL's website, recognizing that no metrics can be an answer, and the development and introduction thereof part of our work
3. Peer libraries - - Jamie set up a page on the wiki to capture potential candidates for peer review. - Adele mentioned that review may not be always best linked to like sized/demographic situations, but against those who have been identified as having good web-sites
4. Research methods - do we survey public? - Adele suggested that we may do well to focus on staff via survey or focus group to evaluate relevance/applicability of attributes of peers' sites are perceived.
5. Measurement critieria - Jamie is going to research ALA, CLA, OLA and possibile European sites (Finland, Sweden) to see if documentation on the development of websites is available.
6. Citations - Jamie has offered to create citations for all documents posted on the wiki (much thanks!)
7. Due date - Megan has written to Ms. Chenoweth to say we discussed and all agreed with extension.
8. Next Meeting - next Sunday, 8pm - Megan to confirm viability of doing so and will contact us if not possible.
